Once you understand how people think, you know what they’ll do. I wanted a day alone with her–to take her apart like a pocket-watch and see what makes her tick. So I demanded that she meet me on the dock on the last day of school. At the end of one single night in her company, I knew I’d never seen anything like her and might never again. I soon saw she was more than capable–downright ingenious. I didn’t want the Gallos with us it was supposed to be a family affair. She forced her way into my rescue mission, stubborn and unapologetic. Until Sabrina crashed down in front of me, like a hundred million volts of lightning right at my feet. I’m used to being the most outrageous person in the room–the one who will go the furthest and do the most. Even when I thought I was thinking of something else, I could hear that husky laugh of hers, wild and mocking, echoing through my brain. She haunted me like a piece of music that wouldn’t stop playing in my head. I guess you could say she made an impression on me. This might seem like madness, having met her only once before. I came all the way to Croatia for Sabrina Gallo.

The harder she fights, the more ruthless I become. Lucky for me, I’ve always loved a challenge… I want to hunt.Įven if I capture her, caging a tiger doesn’t mean it’s tamed. She’s wild and reckless – downright dangerous. Overall, this series gets better and better with each couple, and this one won my heart. The Savage, a dark romance full of off-the-charts heat and chemistry from bestselling author Sophie Lark is available now!įrom the moment I laid eyes on her, I had to have her.īut Sabrina won’t be taken by anyone. The epilogue was so sweet, and it was a great ending to Cat and Dean’s story. I loved how we see them slowly grow attached, share their insecurities, and fall in love with each other. Together, Cat and Dean had crazy chemistry and shared so many steamy and angsty moments. She is definitely one of my favorite Sophie Lark heroines! Being on Dean’s radar hasn’t stopped her from gaining some more and fighting back. She has gained so much confidence since arriving at Kingmakers. As for Cat, I loved her in The Rebel, and that hasn’t changed in this book. It was also great to see him become more friendly with his cousin Leo, Anna, and their friends. I saw him in a different light, and he totally won me over. I despised Dean in the first book so much, but his redemption arc and character development were wonderfully done. I thought that since Dean and Cat already had POVs in the previous books, their own story would have dragged, but not at all because you still learn a lot about them. I didn’t expect to like Cat and Dean’s story so much, but it was awesome! As with every other Sophie Lark book I’ve read, this was very entertaining and riveting.

The Bully is the third installment in the Kingmakers series and follows Dean Yenin and Cat Romero.
